New York is home to many sports franchises. A suggestion for a state mascot: a baseball-loving canine wearing a power tie. Note that the mascot's neck-tie covers all of New York City and Long Island. Wall Street is in Manhattan, a business section of the city where neck-ties abound. Many of these business types have homes on long island. An especially posh section is "The Hamptons".
This dog has a wet nose. Yeah it's because he's a dog, but also because the top of his nose is in Lake Ontario and the bottom part is in Lake Erie.
